According to Google Maps, our pop-up shop is located just outside of the area best known as Little Portugal, but don't tell our neighbours that. The geo bounded by College St, Ossington Ave, Lansdowne Ave, and the Union Pearson Express railway tracks is largely telling of Portuguese influence; from the residents to the small business owners [some of whom have been in operation for 20+ years].
As a nod to a neighbourhood so rich in culture and history, we took to the streets. Much like we are to this neighbourhood, these will look and feel unfamiliar. We purposely strayed from the aesthetic and styling that you've come to expect from us - and for good reason - the character in this cultural enclave is far too prominent to overlook.
The above selects were taken within a one block radius of Dundas St W and Ossington Ave on May 6, 2016.
