Having just returned from our AW17 buying trip, we have much to share with respects to our ever evolving brand list. Though one brand in particular and hence, now new comer, stood out: London based contemporary collective, Agi & Sam. The duo are coming off their latest catwalk, with their AW17 collection showing first life at London Fashion Week Men's. While the show lacked luster - in our honest opinion - the garments validated what we already knew to be true: Agi & Sam are an emerging force in contemporary fashion.
See below for more BTS images from the Agi & Sam AW17 presentation. All imagery provided by Kalina Pulit.
The presentation was coupled with a live set by HOLY OTHER for the Boiler Room. The collection was in partnership with The Woolmark Company [~ 80% of the collection was composed of wool]. And the individual garments were wearable options inspired by namely Dr. Martens footwear [top stitching, piping] and every day life: Agi validates this during an interview with WGSN, "we’re focusing on us, what our tastes are, and how we’ve evolved over time".
If you, like us, are excited about what you've seen, the good news is that Agi & Sam is coming to ACE/FIVE for AW17. The lesser news is that this you'll have to wait for. In the meantime, spring is starting to make it's way to our floor including additional new comers: Kappa Kontroll, HOPE & Harmony Paris. More on them later.
